A Technology Leader Proactively Responding to Industry Trends and Customer Demands Through Continuous R&D

Namkwang Polymer's Corporate R&D Center utilizes various testing equipment to comprehensively evaluate vulcanization conditions, viscosity, tensile, tear, compression, flexural, and peel properties, dynamic behavior, and fatigue life for property evaluation and process condition optimization of rubber/urethane rolls and PU raw materials. Based on this, we have continuously developed high-value-added products including Wringer Rolls for steelmaking, high-friction Bridle Rolls, high wear-resistant and chemical-resistant rolls, and PU raw materials for ribbon casting.

New Technology Development

NK-POL

NK-POL series is an MDI-based polyurethane prepolymer designed for ribbon flow coating. This prepolymer is a raw material featuring no mold or post-processing required, excellent physical properties, outstanding water resistance and wear resistance, and superior durability.

Solvent-Resistant Polyurethane

A polyurethane prepolymer that extends operating time by delaying solvent penetration rate in CCL (Colour Coating Line) and solvent-use environments, enabling productivity improvement through extended maintenance cycles.

* Application: CCL


MULTI LITE

A material developed with great dedication to address the cost burden of HNBR, which offers the best wear resistance, heat resistance, acid resistance, and chemical resistance, contributing to extended roll life in rolling mills.

* Application: Wringer Roll, Backup Roll, and various rolls requiring acid, oil, and chemical resistance
